HERITAGE DETECTIVES

Background information

What do heritage detectives do?

Heritage Detectives detect the past and think about the future.

They go on heritage quests.

They walk in the footsteps of people who have gone before them and look for the things (the heritage) they have left behind.

They listen for the stories in the stones and try to make sense of them.

They quest to find things that a time traveller called Arthur might recognise if he were to come back today.

Heritage detectives go on heritage quests.
Heritage Quests are fun activities for all the family they are a bit like a treasure hunt based on real local history and the heritage just waiting to be discovered all around us.
Everyone, young and old, has a part to play on a heritage quest.  Find out more at Detective School.

This is a club open to everyone who has learned the skills of the Heritage Detective and completed a Quest. Members of the Fellowship ask themselves:

  • What sort of world do I want to leave behind me?
  • What do I want future generations to find out about me and my world?

They continue to quest for what they believe in.
